Sonic Faction has released a new Kontakt bundle, Archetype.
Achetype is a collection of eight virtual instruments (Beatdown, Sickness, Evilfish, Hatchet, Clone, Pulsator, Whoosh Machine and Rogue-One) which run the gamut of vintage and modern instruments.
They asked composer Oscar Flores – who has scored trailers for many films, including The Martian, Terminator: Genisys and Jurassic World – to give it a try. He put together a track, Interceptor, that uses a variety of Archetype sounds to create a piece in his signature trailer style:
Archetype is powered by the (free) Native Instruments Kontakt 5 Player and now fully supports the new NKS Native Kontrol Standard. Owners of Komplete Kontrol S-Series keyboards and Maschine 2 are able to use the hardware to browse all Archetype sounds at once, and easily access device controls for a greater degree of integration.
