Figure for WIndows 10 is available now as a free download.
But why
The best case scenario Propellerhead wanted to stay platform agnostic (probably a good idea). The worst case scenario MS paid them.
Judging by the closing statement of this ad, I’m leaning towards “The worst case scenario”… 😉
So? Oh no, a bunch of people get it for free, how dare MS.
Obviously for the same reason they released it for the iPad and iPhone, it works with touch and is great advertisement for Propellerheads’ products.
Why not?
For surface pro integration probably (???)
how about fill the screen with something more than blank space before releasing an App made for a phone sized screen?
You don’t have to run it full-screen if you don’t want. Here it is on my desktop, used with the mouse. It scales so I can make it as large or small as I want. The app works here without changes because it’s a Windows 10 app.
Admittedly, the experience is better on a tablet/Surface in portrait mode, a touch-screen laptop, or a phone, though.

Because they realized that there are 50 Windows users for every Mac user, and dat’s where that money’s at, beeeeches!
Read it and weep, iSheep.
But it’s free.
True. But Figure’s primary purpose is to own the user experience – and all that delicious big data – and convince musicians to buy into Reason and spendy Rack Extensions.
dude, think volume – they are making nothing on ios – but are making 50 times that on windows.
… and weep I shall, because due to the bad decision I made 20 years ago to not use Windows, I will never reap the obvious benefits of this free, professional app.
If only I had listened to my friends in their short-sleeved dress shirts. Clearly there was safety where the numbers were. I guess that makes me the sheep.
On the positive side, it’s not too late to buy a nice shiny Surface Pro with Windows 10 in case I ever need a computer to run my phone apps!
lol @ short-sleeved dress shirts. They should be illegal.
go figure
I figured someone was going to say that.
Ya know, for kids.
Nice. So where is Windows 10 for my Lumia 640XL?
I actually hope there is more of this porting to windows 10 now that there is a standard architecture for apps among the different hardware standards.
Oooh on the keyboard, the bottom row triggers the drum
middle keyboard row triggers the bass
top row below the numbers triggers the lead
Good stuff on my Lumia 950!
