Native Instruments has released Blocks Wired – three pre-patched modular synths – as a free download.
Blocks Wired was created using Reaktor Blocks.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
From sequenced melodies and basslines to out of the ordinary textures, BLOCKS WIRED gives you the world of modular synthesis in a playful and instantly musical format.
BLOCKS WIRED is made possible by the new Blocks framework in REAKTOR 6, and runs in REAKTOR 6 or the free REAKTOR 6 PLAYER.
Reaktor 6 users get more: Nine new Blocks and five new patches in the latest Blocks 1.1 update for Reaktor.
See the NI site for details.
NI gets it right again this year with an actual Christmas gift and not just a holliday sale.
Ty ni
I do not get what you mean. Last year was Replika for FREE and the year before was Driver for free.
Hating Native Instruments is “cool”.
Can’t see anybody “hating” here. I think the OPs intention was to say, that it’s generous of NI doing another give-away campaign at the end of this year instead of just offering some price reduction “deals” as most of the other companies.
I should say these 3 synths are pretty good, they deliver a wide variety of very playable and convincing sounds.
This is also a very good example of how free limited product sells you the full version.
…glad to see NI is releasing new blocks. free for reaktor6 users…that´s it.
thanks NI. btw. Reaktor Blocks are really nice to handle and they can give you an idea of how modulars can be patched… i love to play with blocks…thanks again.
