Yuri Suzuki’s Three Radio Theremin is a sort of ‘MacGyver Theremin’ – made from three repurposed AM radios.
The Three Radio Theremin was originally developed by Tomoya Yamamoto (Reference : Yamamoto Super Theremin), with additional development by Suzuki.
It was created for the exhibition “Object Abuse” KK Outlet, London.
For details on this lo-fi theremin, see Suzuki’s site.

Wonderful idea, and a great humour! (Clara Rockmore would love it, too). Heartfully congratulations!

Not clear on step 4. What coil is soldered to antenna?
When I was a kid, we had a kitchen radio that would heterodyne when we got too close. Unfortunately, it was not appreciated at the time.
There needs to be substantially more duct tape and chewing gum for this to be considered true MacGyver.
You guys posted the exact same thing years before: https://www.synthtopia.com/content/2011/08/25/three-radio-theremin/
