Bram Bos has introduced Ruismaker, an Audio Unit drum synth for iOS.
Ruismaker works inside sequencer and Audio Unit Instrument hosts, including Steinberg Cubasis, Apple Garageband, Modstep, AUM and MultitrackStudio. It uses analog modeling and FM synthesis to create all its sounds, not samples.

Ruismaker is available as an Audio Unit for US $4.99 in the App Store. iOS Audio Units are supported on iPads (iPad 4, iPad Mini 2 and up) and iPhones (iPhone 5S and up) with iOS 9 and higher.
Those demos are beautiful! Nice showcase of what this does. It’s clearly in that analog drum machine world, but it does it really well (based on what I’m hearing). Looks like tons o fun.

Is there anyone except me experiencing crashes every time you try to open it? It hasn`t started even once in Garage band on an ipad 4. Always crashes.
Hi Spalak… the crash was due to an unfortunate bug in Garageband. The latest 1.0.3 update should work around the issue. Hope that helps!
