Expanding Sounds’ Michael Longo shared a free virtual instrument for Ableton Live, Vibra-Tone, created using the unique Vibra-Tone rhythmic instrument.

Here’s what he has to say about it:

The Vibratone is a very unique percussive instrument. With an expressive hole found on the front, you can get some very interesting rhythms of harmonic tone.

I’ve owned mine for years, and always found a cool use for it in a rhythm track, but thought it would be great to make a fully functioning Ableton instrument, which sounds great.

I didn’t want to leave anyone out, so non Ableton Users can have the Vibratone samples I recorded to make the Vibratone Ableton instrument. Enjoy!
