At Superbooth 17, Moon Modular introduced three new Moog-format modular systems and a new filter module, the 517S Voltage Controlled High Pass/Low Pass Filter.
We talked with synth designer Gert Jalass, who gave us an overview of the new gear.
You can find out more about Moon Modular’s systems at their site.
watched the video about Tom’s synthesizer wall. First learned about Moon modular. I’m hooked.
Moon Modular’s gear isn’t cheap – but for my money, their modules, and the modules from Corsynth, are the best available in the Moog unit format. (And a fraction of the cost of Moog’s own modules).
Synthesizers.com has been doing some pretty interesting stuff recently, too, with their ++ modules, but Moon & Corsynth’s have a better build to them.
Funny how moog introduces eurorack stuff while others introduce moog format stuff. These look cool btw.
