The Freesound Project, a site for sharing samples that can be freely shared and used in music, has announced a remix contest.

Remix The People Competition
- Download: http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=1563
- Make a song, a soundscape, a collage!
- Upload to ccmixter and tag accordingly ( http://ccmixter.org/freesound )
- Only cutting/pasting, some basic processing (eq, compressor, etc…) is allowed
- Deadline is before the end of 2006, worldwide
- I’m the only judge Razz
- Only use samples from that pack.
- Not more than 2 entries per person
