At Superbooth 2018, Novation’s Chris Calcutt gave us a sneak preview of the upcoming update to its Novation Circuit Mono Station.
The update adds some huge new features – including ‘Patch Flip’, which lets you assign a different patch per step in a sequence.
WOW !!! Patch flip wasn’t even mentioned in Gaz’s video, thats AMAZING !! Thanks to Calc and the team for such wonderful updates, You have made a lifetime novation owner out of me !!
It was mentioned in the Mono Station video. Gaz made 2 videos, one for the Circuit and another for the Mono Station.
The later is the one where Chris said it should be out in a month or two.
urgh I only just got to watch the video… thought it was for the CIRCUIT !!! haha well, still amazing, justneed to buy one now haha
I want patch flip for Circuit!
Yes! Plus multiple triggers per step and a way to play samples in a scale!
I’d pay a modest upgrade fee to get those two things, both of which it seems like the hardware should be able to do.
I actually hope that they do not release a ‘Circuit Pro’ for a few years, and instead keep making updates and really mature the existing platform.
It’s friggin amazing all the stuff they’ve added so far, and it makes you realize that they built a ton of room to grow into the circuit.
I actually want to be able to either macro or just have control over the sample start point too
