How To Use The Moog DFAM As A 3-Oscillator Synthesizer

In this video, Alastair Wilson takes a look at using the filter envelope of the Moog DFAM as a 3rd oscillator.

Here’s what he has to say about the patch:

We trigger the filter envelope so fast that it becomes a 3rd ‘oscillator’, by turning up the sequencer tempo. As it happens, the tempo tracks nicely at 1V/Oct, allowing us to use it melodically alongside the other oscillators.

If you have a buffered mult or more than 1 pitch output on your keyboard, then try playing all 3 oscillators at once for a classic monosynth sound!
