In the latest Sonic Lab video, Nick Batt takes a look at the new Pittsburgh Modular Microvolt synthesizer.
The Microvolt was introduced at the 2018 NAMM Show, but just started shipping.

Nice demo, and great sound! The wave folder remains a feature unique to the Pittsburgh synths and adds something special.
Nice synth, but I wouldn’t pick it over the Manther…..unless it was significantly cheaper.
So you get one of these, an 0-Coast, and you have a lot of nice modules in a very easy-to-use, cross-patchable, portable, fairy inexpensive system. Hmm..
That is my plan exactly
Yeah this + neutron and maybe another semi-modular, and you have a sort of cheaper modular system without a bunch of separate utility modules.
