You cannot replicate tape! It’s mechanical and people need to get away from computer screens!
Have you ever lifted a Revox B77? I don’t think people need to break their back ๐
I agree people need to get away from screens. And I agree you can’t replicate tape.
However, there’s nothing wrong with trying. And a $5 app that gives you even a fraction of that personality is a fine thing.
I suppose a person could find a beat up old tape machine at a yard sale and have much more fun playing with the reel deal.
stub, a person has to find several old tape machines to do what this superlightweight app can do!
Ironically, I bought an old tape machine just today. So far it does nothing, because it needs to be repaired and serviced first. Also I need to find 1960s tape for it. Meanwhile, people make music with this app…you get my point ๐
This looks awesome, have to wait until evening to use tho
Been using it a few days now, very cool and lots of fun to tweak. For $5 more proof how amazing my iPads are when it comes to sonic creation, ease of use and total portability.
