NAMM 2005 Show: Edirol has announced two new accessories for the R-4 Four Channel Portable Hard Disc Recorder.

The new EDIROL CS-50 is a compact, light-weight stereo shotgun condenser microphone designed for the R-4 videographer, broadcaster, sound designer and recording artist. The CS-50 features bass roll-off capability as well as selectable wide stereo or narrow (focused) polar patterns. The package includes windscreen, desktop prop, mic stand adapter, cable (2m x LR stereo) and soft case. Suggested retail price is $595.

The new R-4 Hard-shell Travel Case is a compact, solid enclosure that safely holds and protects the R-4 and all its accessories – including the CS-50 (stereo shotgun mic plus accessories), set of dry batteries, AC adapter and cables. Suggested retail price is $250.
