Behringer has announced the launch of 11 new products at Prolight + Sound, the world’s largest trade show for event & communication technology and audio-visual production & entertainment, held in Frankfurt, Germany.
In January of this year, Behringer launched 76 new products at The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show 2005 held in Anaheim, California. The 11 new products launched by Behringer at Prolight + Sound will raise its tally of new products for the year to 87, which it believes is an record in the industry.
Regarding this achievement, Behringer’s chairman Uli Behringer said, “Our record number of new products demonstrates Behringer’s continued commitment to providing its customers with a wide variety of choices, be it product options or features. The good news is also, apart from wide choices, our product prices have remained affordable. I believe that the extensive range of new products launched this year will help Behringer reach out to more customers and gain market share in the various business segments.”
The 11 new products that are introduced for the first time at Prolight + Sound include eight ultra-compact 9.5″ signal processors mainly for home-recording and hard-disk recording. There are also new additions to Behringer’s best-selling EUROLIVE series of powered PA systems and the EUROPOWER series of powered mixers..
Behringer also showcased most of the products that were unveiled at the NAMM Show 2005, including a UHF wireless system, a complete new line of keyboard amplifiers, the new EURORACK UB series of mixing consoles with digital FX, and other exciting additions to the EUROLIVE, V-TONE, V-AMPIRE and ULTRABASS series..
“We believe our line-up for the show will be nothing short of breathtaking. Earlier this year at the NAMM Show 2005, our launch was met with an overwhelming response. Now with an even stronger product showcase at Prolight + Sound, we are expecting a standing ovation,” concluded Uli Behringer.
