Polarity have announced the availability of GXStack, the first release in their XStack VST plug-in series.

Enabling guitarists to get dynamic, convincing guitar amp tones from their PC, GXStack features six custom guitar amplifier models and essential guitar effects – chorus and delay.

Based on the classic guitar amp tones of the last 50 years, the six amp models (Tweed Boy, Deluxe 30, CrunchTone, OverDrive Custom, Bulldog 100 and VT MetalHead) cover tones from gritty 50s’ blues twang and classic cleans to full-on rock and metal crunch. Each amp model features an authentic modelled tube preamp, EQ section, output stage and reverb. Additional effects include super-smooth stereo chorus and delay.

With a commitment to expandability, Polarity have announced that further amplifier and effects modules will be available for purchase by registered users, making the GXStack fully upgradeable.

GXStack is compatible with major VST sequencers, and offers low-latency performance for live monitoring while recording.
