Nice looking video on downward compression, you explained it very well.
You should try it on a system with delay compensation to avoid causing phase problems in your audio. Remember each plug-in you use adds a few samples of delay. Sometimes this short delay will also help to thicken the sound but often it will kill your stereo image and create subtle phasing on your audio tracks. I only say this because I can see your using an LE system and as we know the friendly folks a Digi don't allow you to use delay compensation until you pony up and buy the HD version ($$$$).
