This is some fantastic vintage footage of a young Kraftwerk, in 1980, performing Das Modell on German TV. Make sure you check out the crowd shots!

Amazingly, their current performances are amazingly faithful, both sonicly and visually, to what’s captured here.

Can you imagine how this would have blown people’s minds thirty years ago?
