This video, which is just a bit dated, takes a look at astrophysicist and musician Dr. Fiorella Terenzi who “writes and performs sensual computer-generated music.”
The narration is just horrifically bad, full of ill-considered single-entendres.
Terenzi is another story, though, discussing using radio telescopes to capture the “songs” of celestial objects, shifting the frequencies to audible range and “jamming with a galaxy.”

I first heard Dr. Fiorella Terenzi back in 1994. She collaborated with Thomas Dolby on The Gate to the Mind's Eye – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind's_Eye_(ser… .

I'm surprised at how little information there is on her on the Web. Her own site is fairly dated, too.
