What is RjDj?

RjDj explores the possibilities of new personal music players like the iPhone or the iTouch to create mind-blowing hearing sensations. The RjDj app makes a number of downloadable scenes from different artists available.

One app is usually a compilation of several scenes the RjDj equivalent of a music track – each vested with different mind-boggling characteristics. While some apps like the Trippy app use microphone input to manipulate or create music, others like the Shake app are all about moving, shaking and dancing with your device.

The hearing sensation

RjDj is nothing like youve ever heard before. It connects the music you hear to the world around you, creating a unique, acoustically rich listening experience. Every time youre using RjDj, the music is created in the very moment you are listening to it. Customised by your surroundings, the music becomes an entirely unique, individual soundtrack to your life.

When youre having a special musical moment and want to preserve it, no problem: Just press the record button! RjDj also allows you to share special moments of musical pleasure with the rest of the world. For that we built a web application, which allows a hassle-free upload to our server. Your shared recording will be vested with a nice rjdj.me/url and is accessible from iPhone/iTouch or PC. Also, you can share your tracks with your friends on almost any social network out there.
