why are idiots like this allowed access to primo gear like that?

Seriously though, I do concur. I mean; grabbing a synth just for that one specific sound is something I can't really understand. Sure; I can understand that if you have the money to burn you don't need to bother with learning how to use a synth by taking it into all possible directions. Instead you simply use the presets and treat it like a regular keyboard.
I was also hoping for a little more indepth interview. Unfortunately he doesn't appear to be the type of artist who actually knows about his gear.

Is he not able to communicate his music that well because of a language barrier? It sounds like he's trying really hard to translate… and failing. He's an accomplished producer and DJ, I would hope he's got more insight on his own music and gear than THAT! 😛
