Sonic Labs unboxes the Korg Kaossilator Pro, checks out its chunky good looks, fires up the pretty lights and checks out how the sexy beast works.
Looks like a lot of fun, doesn’t it?
If you’ve got questions about how the new Korg Kaossillator Pro, let them know.
I am very, very interested in buying one of these… I already have a (borrowed) KP2, which leads me to a couple of questions. (1) How easy is it to map – I am terrible at mapping, and (2) can the damn thing accept Midi Time Code? I have a rock outfit that I use a Pro-Tools rig with – the capability to synchronize the Kaoss Pad with it would really help out.
I'm curious if the drum patterns can also be mapped. Also, when MIDI triggering a pattern, does it over-ride the previous pattern. In other words, changing drum patterns on the fly. Thanks

Adding to drum patterns is possible. I just got mine and its awesome. You can change and edit drum or any patterns as you go.
hey,
sorry – but is it not possible to load data from the SD card when it is playing?
cheers, phil
