The World’s First Remixable YouTube Video

This video, Henrik Leichsenring’s The Mixable Dancer, is described as the “world’s first youtube mixable music video.”

There are 11 beats to mix from and the wheeler indicator shows you when it is time to mix.

Wait for it to load and then decide for yourself if YouTube has any future as a remix platform.

  1. I don't understand. Why have loop packs if you shouldn't use them? Are not most loop packs royalty free? And considering that youtube is a free site, it seems well within the rights of the user to utilize virtually unedited material for something that not necessarily a work of art, but rather is a tool-set designed to allow people to experiment and create temporal works from?
