Dr. Bleep of Bleep Labs has introduced a basic DIY synth project – the PicoPaso.

Its similar to the Atari Punk synth, aka Forrest Mims stepped tone generator, but uses two triangle wave oscillators that can be combined or used separately. A wave shaper and square wave LFO can be used to increase the aural ridiculousness.

The PicoPasa is available as a kit fo $25 or built for $35.
