This is a demo of CycleOn – a real-time playback system for ReCycle REX loops.

This Combinator based instrument patch is designed to create live performance and DJ Style effects using Propellerhead Record and Propellerhead Reason 4.0. No sequencing is required, and loops start and stop in sync with the transport.

Used in conjunction with a control surface, CycleOn patches form the foundation of a compelling performance piece.

iphone/ipod Touch [and eventually ipad] control of Propellerhead Record via the Hexler.net touchosc app. OSC to MIDI conversion handled by osculator. This is how i imagine an ideal control system will work with these patches.
