Tom Cosm has put together another video collection of Ableton Live tips.
See his previous videos 10 Ableton Live Tips In Six Minutes & 10 Ableton Live Tips for more.
And see Tom Cosm’s site for more in-depth details for his tips.
I looked through the first part but I think this is horribly boring and in some options plain out incorrect. Alas, I think he’s going over his stuff way too quickly resulting in a demo which often results in “Here’s how I do it because” without going a little more indepth into the why.
I admire the effort but don’t think much of the result.
I rather like Tom's demos. Maybe it's because I'm fairly familiar with Live, but the rapid-fire style of his tips actually keeps me interested. It's a lot of stuff I probably could have figured out on my own, but just never considered.
I can't really hang with tutorial vids that plod through things explaining in excruciating detail ever minor point of the 'why' for everything. These are just meant to be 'quick tips', as the title explains, and you can take them or leave them. There's definitely something to take away from this.

Its very helpful.. maybe you need to go over some beginner video's so you can keep up?
I love the bit on the limiter. "Don't use it too much or you'll get towed off." Nice.
