I have every right to post my experiences just like everyone else does. Do you see what I do? I try to use Live 8 as much as possible because I paid for it and I expect it to work for me. Does aBUGton offer me a refund? NO. So, I am gonna post my experiences until the right 'update' fixes my problems. If yours runs great, then chime in and tell me what setup you have so maybe I can look into to it to see if that's my fix. I've been speaking the truth in all my comments, no lies, none of that. Please, help if you can.
Already spotted these on youtube myself, but these movies give you a very good insight into the drum rack send/receives. As one might expect from "Ableton Live Clinic" 🙂
aBUGton Live 8 freezes when adding effects to this drum rack senario.
No, I'm not making anything up. I posted 7 times on YOUTUBE of how my Live 8 freezes, yet, they got taken down because either an aBUGton fan or aBUGton themselves complained about the videos and I received a message from YOUTUBE that it was inapropriate material.whatever.
oh, and by the way, I'm permantly banned from their forum because of one moderator who thinks he is above the rest of us with his power.Big deal. He's like these short guys that drive big trucks to make them seem bigger.
Man, you sound like a broken record. Is bash Ableton all you ever do? Live 8 works perfectly fine for me. The above scenario does not cause any type of problem in my setup whatsoever.
If it sucks so much to you, maybe you should just move on to something else and quit complaining. Don't be a troll.

Cracked? no way. Paid in full unfortunately.
My Live disks will be cracked when I toss them out the 2nd floor window pretty soon.
Promises, promises….
Problem is that you're now making stuff up, plain and simple. And that my good man is either trolling or bashing. I suspect the first though.

I don't know if it helps any to constantly complain on a blog like this. You're not exactly encouraging a civil dialogue with straight trash-talk on every possible Ableton-related post. I'm sure it's frustrating if the product is not working for you as advertised, but there's better ways to address the problem or get their attention, IMHO.
I don't mean to be coy, but have you tried Ableton Support? Ableton forums? That would appear to be the obvious route. It seems to crash for you constantly (based on your postings), no matter what the situation is, and that may be indicative of a larger problem – I have no idea. I'm just a user of the software and a casual synth enthusiast. 🙂 It certainly is a shame if you paid for it and no one from the company is offering you any assistance, but they don't really have a reputation for bad support as far as I know. And people seem to be generally helpful on the forum, from what I've experienced.
I've been using it since ver 5, on several different computers of varying abilities (all Macs, FWIW), and I've always just paid, downloaded, installed and was good to go. I don't know what else to tell you. Currently I'm using a year-old MacBook Pro and Live 8, no special configuration or anything, and it's all well and good. I can't really offer any advice beyond that, other than to try and work with Ableton support/community.

I do email support. and they do respond in a timely matter. That's great. But, every update has not made Live 8 usuable for me. Yes, my midi controller issue was resolved in 8.1.1. update. Great, but what about the drag and drop .wav files? what about the automations sticking everytime I try to edit them? Those are all issues INSIDE of Live 8 and has nothing to do with any 3RD party plugin. So, I'll speak the truth until I'm satisfied with the product.

LOL.
Ok, so maybe not just "a" troll but a paranoid troll. Gotcha.
I have never had a bug with ableton live. It might be your current computer set up/ operating system. The best thing you can do is report your bugs to ableton.
