First of all I love your site. The reviews and discussions on electronic music and technology are phenomenal. I am commenting about this latest app for the ipad. I am simply overwhelmed. At this point at the rate that apps, software, and products like the ipad are coming out is mindblowing. I feel we as musicians need to focus on limiting our scope when it comes to making music. I feel that things come out so fast that it's hard to master anything these days, like in the same way that some one may have mastered the guitar or an MPC, etc… I hope the reviews keep coming but just wanted to share my concern that as musicians less sometimes is more. Try making music with as few things as possible. Get to know what you use as intimately as possible before you move on to the next"latest" or "greatest" product that is supposedly better. Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated and look forward to maybe continuing a dialog about this.

Pianist Pro is definitely a great app! There are a few drum apps available for iPad, one of which is Beatbox Pad. You can check out a demo video on http://beatboxpad.com

I feel you homie, I got overwhelmed and stopped producing music for quite awhile. Back in the game and simplified.
