iPad Music Software: Jason Burns’ Philocast vlog takes a look at using the AC-7 Pro application for the Apple iPad:
With a quick set up, you can take full control of your mixes in Pro Tools, Logic Studio and more via WiFi to put your mix in your hands instead of a mouse.
AC-7 Pro (App Store link) is available now and sells for $9.99.
If you’ve used AC-7 Pro – leave a comment with your thoughts on it!

Doesn’t work for digital performer, it sees the wifimidi, but doesn’t lock into the Jackie control surface. Works in reason fine. I wanted to use his as a remote mix/control surface, hope I can get a solution. This would be great for controlling dp when in the vocal booth, or in main room when laying live instruments.
Looks like compatibility of AC-7 Pro varies widely with different software.
If you've tried it, please share your thoughts on how it works with your DAW!

A solution for Digital Performer should be available in the next 24 hours or so… watch this space!
Awesome – let us know as you have updates!

Yeah, I thought that was nicely ironic. Microsoft makes killer t-shirts.
