Honorary Synthtopia keytar badass and jazz/fusion great Herbie Hancock checks out Alicia’s Keys – the new piano virtual instrument created by Alicia Keys and Native Instruments.
Alicia’s Keys was sampled from Alicia Keys’ own playing in her studio, and was used extensively on her last album.
wow it goes from the most softest velocity to the most highest wow
I agree it's kinda misleading that Herbie is being given a product demo instead of Herbie GIVING a product demo.
With that said, the NI chick actually has a point and it seems that this product may have a place in the market instead of just being a way to cash in on a celebrity name.
Often times, large sampled plug-ins do trade "character" for accuracy.
Umm, make that: Herbie is treated to the box blurb.
One would like to hear him speak a full sentence about it…

Yes – direct in on the piano would be nice, too.
Also: Happy B-day Herbie!
yeah! Happy Happy Happy Bday to the king of acid jazz.
Why is it a private video? I'd like to see that!!!!!

Looks like Native Instruments yanked this for some reason. Sorry guys!
