I, for one, am tired of all these iPad posts on synth sites.

Agreed.
Sure, how about another TB-303 "live" jam video. Talk about monotony… and so visually stimulating to boot.

Yeah, or how about some "DJ" mixing a bunch of loops together as a "musical" performance and calling him/herself a musician. Or some glitch tweaker or found objects/circuit bending. Or another lengthy article about Live and how someone is doing something incredibly complex and "new" (but the results pretty much sound like the same old thing). Where is the musicianship, hm? This is a site about synthesis…if the iPad becomes a huge platform for synthesis, don't you want to know about that?

Sure. But do we really need so many "controller controls VJ software" "controller controls Reason" "controller controls xyz" articles?
We get it. It has a touch screen and you can use it as a controller.

i.e. SID / ANALOG / DIGITAL / MACARONI & CHEESE / whatever !
midi is a crippled thing of the past with terrible resolution …let's face it
osc protocol is becoming VERY relevant… let's try and get along?
