Free Music Software: Sir Elliot has introdued Four Stage Compressor, a free four-stage compressor for Windows:
The Four Stage Compressor consists of four compressors sitting in one chassis using the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, & Release controls. The user has the option to select four different compressors by merely selecting Compressor A, B, C, or D and, adjusting to taste.
Specifications:
- Attack Time: 0 – 300 milliseconds (LCD display will not show lower than 1 millisecond)
- Release Time: 0 – 900 milliseconds (LCD display will not show lower than 3 milliseconds)
- Ratio: 0 – 16:1
- Threshold: 0 to –200 dB
- Compressor: Four-user-select independent compressors sharing the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, & Release controls.
