Does anyone know how he's midi-synched all that gear?
wheres the fuckin 808 😀
I don't know about you all, but it seemed to me that something was out of sync.
That's probably on the list to buy.
If you've got these already, you might as well go for the SP-404 and the TR-505, and complete the collection, don't you think?
Something is strange about the sound quality. Feels like digital clipping at times and no real dynamics (fade ins/outs do not really come through). Also not very inspired for so many expensive pieces of equipment, but hey, nobody can be inspired all the time.
Yes, I just came midi out of the TR-909 into a kenton pro 2, then midi thru to the TR-707. Next was dyn sync from the kenton into the MC-202, which has two sync outs. One went to the TR-606 and the other went to the TB-303 and tom trigger out into the MS-10. Next was cv gate from the TB-303 into the SH-101.

Hi,
Great demo !!!
I have a question ! Please Help:p !
How do you cv the ms-10 ?
I guess The ms-10 is this crazy hi sweeping sound who come at 2.47 ?
Isn’t it ? How did you do it please ?
Hudge sound !!!
Best regards,
Fred
The TB-303 line was playing a different time signature, it is more hypnotic that way and avoids the repetition of 4/4

I ant cunting got one yet!
If you think that I just bought the equipment down stairs, plugged it up and recorded the track for youtube all in less than two hours then perhaps you might understand the JAM alittle better. You need to listen to my studio recording of this equipment before you can really decide if I can inspire you or not. Some peoplr would not even know how to plugg this lot in, let alone have a jam on it.
The Tr-505 is not a classic machine in my books. The TR-727 is worth adding but hey pay the bills first eh! I also have an R-8, Juno-106, Prophet 200, Pro-1, Mackie 32-8 bus. Lots of out board and more stuff than I can even remember at this stage. Been collecting since 1985, so you can imaging what it is like here. This is just my jam set up for this session, I just grab the machines from upstairs, plugg em up and bang em out for youtube.
you're just fuckin' envious!!
Yeah … the flow of the out of sync 303 is quite interesting.
I don't even like straight beats, or roland sounds… this shit is awesome though. Well done!! Quit talking shit! I don't see links to your sound! (Just google: "Caalamus") Peace to the author of this vid :]
