The fourth episode of Brown’s series of Novation Launchpad tutorials covers how to set up Launchpad FX.
This is one of the worst tutorials I've seen. 7.30 minutes into part one and the only thing he showed us was how to setup a midi mapping in Live with the launchpad? Yes, I'm well aware that for the second midi mapping he now used a 'momentary' key but quite frankly I wasn't able to spot the difference in behavior between them. The moment he pushes his button Live toggles the on/off status right away.
SO my opinion on the matter is simple; move on, nothing to see here.
I honestly have never seen a competent DSP project tutorial. They ramble to their points, "um" and "ah" their way through the script and just can't seem to get out what they're trying to say. It's *incredibly* frustrating.
most useless launcpad tutorials ever
stop posting those DSP project videos please
what these tutorials show is that you might want to get another controller to do these kind of things?…I mean, if you want to control a filter, get something with knobs!

why all the hater comments? I liked these videos.
Haha being a "synthfan" you should probably know difference between a momentary control and a toggle. You have much to learn here if you'd pay attention.
I love my Launchpad, but it's true that there's not a lot of resources out there about how to do more customized setups. Say what you will about the pacing or style of these videos, but I found the info to be quite helpful.
