I love the arrangement for the LDR in the optotheremin on the very last page. That would look so great with ultrabright LEDs. And it should make it a lot more controllable than just sticking a sensor on the top of the box and relying on ambient light.
An interesting collection of mainly plagiarized circuits, as was typical of the time. Of course, who plagiarized whom was never easy to demonstrate. It's a shame that the only circuit that I'm unfamiliar with here is unreadable due to the quality of the scan.
