AirJ has announced AirJapp (£8.99) – new software that lets you assign MIDI controls and events to actions of movements made with your iOS device.
Sonic State got the scoop on this, and says that the AirJ app is expected to be available within a couple of weeks. What’s more, the device will show up as a native MIDI controller in Ableton, and presumably other DAWs.
Devices are available when the App is launched and they are connected to the same WiFi network. The number of usable wireless iOS devices is limited only by the WiFi bandwidth.
This looks pretty fun! Check it out and let us know what you think!
This looks interesting – but I'm not so sure about strapping $500 worth of sensors to your arms.
