Ever do a search for Moog on Google or eBay and find yourself inundated with links for Moog suspension, Moog auto parts, Moog ball joints, Moog springs, Moog chassis…….everything but Moog synths?
This video could make those people actually searching for Moog parts feel our pain.
Moog Motorcycle Racing, via audibleobsession, demonstrates a new way to have fun in the studio:
Simply plug in a dummy load in the KB Gate CV and two stereo cables in the Pitch CV and Cutoff CV and you’re off to the races…
It’s the latest studio time waster – but it’s also a reminder to “play” with your synth – and that your keyboard can limit the way you think about your synthesizer.
Absolutely *love* that!!!! =D
I'd encourage a lot of people to try the opposite. 🙂
Thanks for the post! Nice that Synthopia caught on to "moog" name dilemma. It was part of the motivation for the video 😉
And thx the nice replies guys. All joking aside, it really is a great CV controller! I'll tape the stereo 1/8" down above my mod wheel, connect the 1/4" to Cutoff CV, and tap it rhythmically or push down on it hard and slow for a nice aggressive/unpredictable filter sweep. Cheers!
