The Norwegian documentary Bergensbanen captures the gorgeous 300-mile, 7.5-hour-long train ride from Bergen to Oslo in Norway.
A group of DJs decided to put together a soundtrack for this beautiful 7-hour trip. There are 13 segments in total with 13 different ideas of a perfect soundtrack. The results are often mesmerizing.
I’d take this train ride – but only if they had a chillout room in the observation car.
Who else wants to ride this train?

Fantastic video, but the audio was giving me a headache, so I turned it off and put on something more appropriate.
This seems to be the entire journey, in real time, only with the view from the front of the train. Brilliant! So often these things are ruined with cuts to aerial shots, other shots and dumb commentary. This is just the way it should be: pure movement and scene.
That's what I liked about it – sort of severe and minimal, but it works.
just amazing
I lived in Bergen for a year, and meant to take this train ride, but didn't make it happen. Now it's like I didn't miss anything 😉
I have taken this train ride. It is truly spectacular in a way the video can only partially capture. Still, it is wonderful to get to enjoy it again – from the engineer's perspective which is very cool. I just wish they had actually started from Bergen instead of coming out of that first LONG tunnel after Bergen.
