This video, via Sparkle Labs, demonstrates how to build the Atari Punk Console.
The ‘Atari Punk Console’ is a basic synthesizer that’s popular as a DIY synth project because it’s relatively easy to build and cheap.
The original circuit design was created by Forrest M. Mims III, and was published as the “Stepped Tone Generator” in a Radio Shack booklet, Engineer’s Notebook: Integrated Circuit Applications, 1980.
