Here’s a first look at the Analogue Solutions Station X mini-modular synthesizer and its complementary counterpart, the Analogue Solutions Station Y Synthesizer.
This demo video features some random patches & finally some clangorous “noise” examples.
Analogue Solutions’ Station synths are compact “mini-modular” synthesisers. They are designed to contain all the essential ingredients to form complete synth patches.
All sounds/noises produced by Station(s) X,Y. Also used: Oberkorn MK3 analogue sequencer (to sequence loops)
Station Synth Details:
- Pure analogue voice circuitry
- Fully patchable
- Compact modular synth
- Available as a module (without case)
- Plenty of modulation possibilities
- Rugged steel construction.
- MIDI In for software sequencer / keyboard control

Hrmmm some great noises.
I was considering buying a Station X over my Future Retro XS.
I think I might have to go get a Station X anyway.
Seems like it gives the Dark Energy a run for its money.
Analogue Solutions' products always sound the same to me. Something harsh about their tone. I'm sure that appeals to lots of people, but I'm just not into it.
