Loopmasters has released a couple of free sample library downloads to celebrate the holidays:
Since we’re all in this holiday mood we felt we’d fill your Xmas stocking with samples and loops from the best of the best.
The audio candy that’s there for you has different flavours.
These are: Andy Karakasis, High Rankin, Justin Robertson, Meat Katie, Prince Fatty, Rasmus Faber, Semus Haji & Paul Emanuel, Timo Maas, Total Science and Utah Saints. Hmmm… tasty! Just download and unwrap with your favourite unwrapping application ;).
There’s more sweet coating on this, however. The 185MB of free samples that we’re giving away comes from sample packs that are unreleased – they will see the light of day next year. So… you’re putting your hands on samples that are not available anywhere else in the world!
Two collections are available now for download, with a third to follow around Christmas.
Ok, this maybe close to a sneer (I know) but *finally* something which is /really/ free. Loopmasters make excellent material; Ableton Live ships with some of their stuff and its very useful in the overall..
'tis odd; it seems to me that when companies start to "think" they're great they'll easily release freebies which aren't free at all ("you only need to register with a social website"). Whereas the top brass simply puts out stuff for FREE with no strings attached.
Kudo's! I grabbed one and two and can't wait to try 'm out. When all goes well I should be getting my Maschine tomorrow so this might make a fine addition to that stuff as well!
Thanks Loopmasters! Good to see a company which DOES understand how freebies work!
