Angie Dickinson performs Steve Reich’s Clapping Music while beating up Lee Marvin – just about the best thing ever, if you’re a music geek
Unfortunately for Dickinson – you can’t beat up Lee Marvin.
Clapping Music is a minimal work from 1972 that explores the idea of shifting the phase relationship of two copies of the same 12/8 rhythmic pattern.

The joke starts to pall by about 1:10. Gotta admire Angie's stamina and sense of rhythm, though.
Nice :0) Thanks!
1. Was waiting for some fake CG rendered blood-splattering to develop though….
2. Watching in fullscreen after a minute or so after the split may cause headaches…
3. Would rule with some Charles Bronson smackdown mixed in 😉
This is pretty funny. I was wondering how much material was available for usage and came across the original scene on YouTube:

Pretty impressive indeed!
would be interesting to do the same thing with Kate Bush's song "Sat in your Lap"…
Personally I thought it was a bit clappy
