Bill Ruppert is back with another one of his ‘use your guitar like a synthesizer’ Effectology demos.
In this episode, Ruppert uses his guitar with Electro-Harmonix effects pedals to create the sound of a Caribbean steel drum band. Impressive as always!
You can get the pedal effect details at the EXH forum.
love stuff like this, very cool
Amazing use of effects
I do love this series. Shame they are often a little light-on with the explanations.
really cool!
Indeed! 'Twood be nice if they/he would go into more detail….
'Tis nice to hear REAL music for a change on this site? You know-chord changes? Harmonic movement? Melody? What a concept?
Chuck, no shit. Good call. Wouldn't that be something if they could keep it up?
Pretty cool. But I have to say, I used to get a pretty convincing steel drum sound out of a Peavey ProFex and a Digitech GSP 2101 back in the early 90s.
Amazing work you done here. It is really fantastic post for me. It is best for creating different sounds like drum sounds and glass sounds, now this sounds are very easy to create.
