MIDI Breakout Box (App Store link) is a new app that turns an iPad into a multi-touch MIDI router.
The $1.99 MIDI Breakout Box lets you:
- Route MIDI input to one or more different channels
- Transpose input up or down in pitch before sending it to the output channels
- Change instrument presets, volume and stereo panning on output channels
The latest version also adds support for keyboard splits.
Note: This App requires a MIDI hardware interface connected to the iPad via the USB Camera Connection Kit.

I've been looking for something that does just this! Yay.
Very good midi app for the iPad, it’s really helpful, I think if it get some updates would be marvelous !!
