Electrix Tweaker is a new performance controller for Ableton Live, Traktor, and for “music producers and performers of all genres”.
Tweaker features a grid of 32 rubber pads, backlit by RGB LEDs, and 8 velocity sensitive drum pads. There is a channel strip on each side of the grid, and a crossfader centered underneath.
Each channel trips is comprised of a fader, three backlit rubber pads, an analog knob, and three push encoders with red LED rings.
The navigation section at the top of the unit has a large browsing encoder and a four-way selection push grid (left, right, up, down).
Tweaker is fully USB bus powered and also has MIDI In and Out ports. The MIDI IN/Out is an interesting addition, and opens this style of matrix control to a huge range of older gear.
More info and release date coming soon.

If it's a new Ableton controller, why is Traktor on the screen of the laptop in the picture? Odd.

I'm definitely interested. anything that can lighten my gear load for gigs.
Electrix specifically notes Live and Traktor compatibility, as we mentioned, but the Live compatibility and hardware MIDI support are probably the features that will interest the most Synthtopia readers.
Damn I wish there were better pics of this thing… Seems like an interesting alternative to the APC-20.
