This is a sneak preview of version 2.2.0 of DXi FM Synthesizer, an FM synth for iOS, inspired by “the 80’s most popular synthesizer.” The new version updates the apps’ MIDI support.
The video demonstrates DXi FM synthesizer ver 2.2.0 played with an external MIDI controller via the iPad Camera Connection Kit.

Hi Takashi, thanks for the great synth, it’s an excellent introduction to FM. One question how do I load a custom sound into an operator it allowed me to copy from clipboard but will not accept a wav – say if I wanted to load a sine wave into an operator is this possible ???
