Casey Driessen, violinist with Bela Fleck, the Sparrow Quartet and others explores the possibilities of combining violin with Moogerfooger effects at the ExperimentalSynth Studio.
The lights and video camera were not set up, but luckily a Droid was handy.
Amazing violin skills, but the moogerfoogers seemed quite underused except at the 2.45 point, which was quite a lovely pad-like accompaniment to the playing.
@Polite_Society that was due to the Droid mic picking up so much of the acoustic sound of the violin. It made everything sound much drier. We hope to do another one with my usual video setup and capture the audio straight from the mixer.
Thanks for your kind words on my pad playing 😉
