  1. Oh… and Jean Michel is playing on a wireless Prophet 5! (Or he he forgot to plug it in). I'm a big Jarre fan but I think his live performance is bogus.

  2. ….. why did this man ruin a perfectly good orchestra? (ill probably get flak for that, but all the synth parts were dull, and other than the laser harp, fairly hard to hear over the orchestra.)

  3. Didn't he always use a glove when he played the laserharp before?…whats with that?…did laserbeams get less harmfull…or did Jarre hardened his hands somehow!?…Very nice concert anyway!

  4. Already nothing will help Jean Michel Jarre
In show well all except Jean Michel Jarre and its disgusting music)))

  5. A show ok but isn't this man overrated? His music really does not sound that great: If you would compare to other synthesists, he is pretty weak I think. He does create a big spectacle but no memorable music.

  6. Future Music did a piece on him in 2005 and from the photos there it's clear the man had some plastic surgery, and what AnalOG said.

  7. I thought that as well, but on closer inspection there is a silver headed cable plugged into the audio out, which is the middlemost output.

  8. I would beg to differ. His Oxygene II and IV are arguably the most known and memorable pieces in electronic music history… at least for anyone who grew up in the 70's or 80's. Not to mention work like the Equinox series and Magnetic Fields.

Personally not a huge fan of his later, more world music stylings for later on. Can't say I was a huge fan of the above performance either.
