This is a sneak preview of the Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) – a new sequencer for the iPad, created by the developer of Bleep!Box.
It offers 16 tracks of MIDI. each track can have as many patterns as you want, but only one pattern per track plays at a time.
According to the developer, Genome MIDI Sequencer “focuses on sequencing songs and patterns using the iPad to control other synthesizers over MIDI. It supports CoreMIDI, network MIDI, MIDI Sync, .MID export and import, and the Line6 Midi Mobilizer interface. It also features a great multitouch interface to quickly and easily get down your ideas and hear them live.”
It’s currently in development. You can find more details at the developer’s site.
