Track Master 2.0 Turns Your Trackpad Into A MIDI Controller

Track MasterDeveloper LSD Programming has released version 2 of Track Master – an OS X app that turns your trackpad into a MIDI controller.

Here are some of the new features:

  • Interface redesign: features a new interface, “to bring you the most natural experience of playing an instrument with your trackpad.”
  • MIDI learn: added the ability to send MIDI learn signals straight from the Preferences window. This should make assigning Track Master’s X-Y MIDI output to any DAW a smooth process.
  • Lion compatibility: Most importantly, Track Master now works with Lion. The update meant that Track Master had to lose global gestures, but gained the ability to have up to eleven fingers on the trackpad.

Track Master is available in the App Store for $4.99.
