Reader francesco sends word that Furrtek, a group of french videogame hackers, has just released the beta of the DS-Monotron.
DS-Monotron is an unofficial software emulation of the Korg Monotron mini analog synth.
To run this software you need a Nintendo DS and a compatible flash card.
This just sounds terrible, the digital aliasing is incredibly evident.
The filter sounds superb not!

Not analogue, y'see, so it can't possibly have that richness and depth of sound that the original Monotron, with its tinny little speaker, is so famous for.
